Week 3 day 1- Development and feedback critiques

Today in class we had interim critique, these were the concepts and mood boards we showed

For the first one we used the fishing idea, but instead of catching fish he has caught a big can piece of rubbish

For the second concept i created a watercolour mood board so tried to create a watercolour images of fish dripping of oil showing the effect pollution has on the wildlife at the beach

The third concept was just using photography, have a big pile of rubbish taking up most of the image blowing the audiences view of the beach

the fourth concept was using photography and linear drawings of rubbish overtop

Concept 4

For these next 3 concept we used documentary photography and illustrations for these posters. I went to the beach and set up the chili bin etc to create a reality of rubbish being everywhere. I used some of the same photos and some different photos to show this, i changed and edited the images to create different effects. Some look illustrated and most are photography black and white so they look grungy and scary.

Feedback we got from the critique

We got feedback from the class and a critique on the two posters we presented. We presented the oily fish and the milk bottle in the sand "Caption" "Rubbish is taking over" Our feedback was good and positive but the comments were we needed to make it a little more friendly and inviting which we can do.

Feedback that we got from the critique yesterday- we summed it up into sentences outlining what we need to do what we need to improve on and what they like and didn't like.

Also we did a little brainstorm on how we want our website to work the layout what we want on the homepage etc. What we want to be the main focus and have the most impact.
