got some feedback that we don't need the image spilt in too, instead we could crop it to just one half.

Have decided to go with the photography and linear drawing concept as its more inviting/ colour flu and shows a change. 

Cropping the image, removing the drawings from the top because it isn't that realistic and it shows change because some of the rubbish is missing and because its drawings it could symbolise that the rubbish was there in the past showing a change.

Playing around with the text after cropping the image as we are happy with the image.

Week 4 day 1

In class today we had one on ones. I showed our drafts of the website, poster and flyer.




With the website we are not sure which layout we want yet so we are exploring the 3 examples posted on steam

With the poster we are using a dominant image as the main focus. The image will be split in 2, one half containing rubbish and the other half with no rubbish or the rubbish will be fading to show change. To make these 2 halves noticeable tim suggest we put the text in one half just not in the middle like in the first concept.

played around with creating time lapse images to see what they would look like / if they work. they definitely show change with the rubbish being put there and rubbish being picked up

Grid layouts

drew up a few grid layouts we could possibly use for our website, we want to include a dominate image / or images on our website which is clearly shown in the layouts

Drew up some more grid layouts possible for website and flyer. The positioning of everything and how we want it is essential. Our main dominant layer will be our image or images as we think that will be the most effective element in our work.
